For almost my entire life I have been involved in sport, from juniors to seniors and elite levels. I have been fortunate enough to be a participant, a coach, a manager, a parent of elite athletes and for the last 25 years as a photographer.

During this time I have seen the importance of using high quality equipment and the difference it can make to results. Sometimes, using this high quality equipment can almost feel like cheating such is the difference it can make to your results.

Recently I had the need to upgrade my dragon boat paddle (my previous one was crushed in transit) and was fortunately enough to be contacted by a manufacturer offering the use of some sample paddles.

I was so impressed by the quality I showed others in my club, who showed others, who showed others. Many asked if they could get the same paddle.

Action in Focus paddles was born.

Almost 200 paddles are now being used in the dragon boat community in just a few months. At the recent National Championships Action in Focus paddles were used in many gold medal winning teams and more paddlers were asking how can they get their hands on AIF paddles.

Having the advantage of being a paddler but also knowing the costs involved in participating in any sport, Action in Focus are committed to providing high quality, elite level equipment but at a price that is very affordable.

Our basic paddle comes with our Action in Focus logo but we can also provide your own club logo or artwork on your paddle. Once used, your design is strictly designated to your club. You will never see a similar paddle at another club.
